Purposefully conceived to be unlike any other spa, the ARMANI / SPA Ginza Tower is a highly exclusive urban concept located in the Armani flagship store within the prestigious Ginza district of Tokyo. At the heart of the concept is ‘The Ceremony’ an ‘East meets West’ treatment journey that led the layout of the treatment suites. Unmistakably ARMANI in design, the ARMANI/SPA is finished in a warm, simply elegant combination of glowing amber, deep black lacquer, bronze and fresh neutrals.

Strong identifiable symbols were developed – the unique dome shaped treatment suites that provide focus within a cocoon; the Ceremony Gong; the 3-zone journey within the treatment suite….. each successive stage of the journey gently unfolds by entering the next zone through smooth sliding doors; the exceptionally comfortable Armani Treatment Couch that elevates at both ends; The Ceremony created specifically for the ARMANI/SPA concept – and of course, the interior design.

This, the world's first ARMANI/SPA, has already provided inspiration for the Spas within the forthcoming Armani Hotels in Dubai & Milan.

From the outset Giorgio Armani required a unique Spa concept that did not follow a predictable Spa solution, or a trend…… but set a trend. Only 2 months after opening the ARMANI/SPA, ISPA identified in their 'Annual Trend Watch Report' that 'Luxury Brand Spas' such as the ARMANI/SPA would be a leading trend.

Spa Treatment Offering

All ‘Spa Masters’ are taught to perform a selection of spa rituals based on The Ceremony – a synthesis of Eastern & Western techniques. Each treatment combines elemental work for relaxation, healing and revitalization with caring treatments for the skin. The Ceremony treatment is a uniquely personalized ritual commencing with an analysis conducted by a Spa Master. ‘Ceremony Focus’ treatments are tailored to concentrate on the body to reveal fluidity & energy, or on the face to enhance radiance, youthfulness & skin condition.

Obsidian - containing essential minerals for all living matter - contributes to many of the beneficial products used throughout The Ceremony. Obsidian, when….

- liquified, turns into a warm soothing foot treatment
- reduced to a powder and mixed with water, it solidifies to release tension
- finely ground, it becomes black sand with exfoliating properties
- cut and polished, it is a luxurious massage tool 
- in micro form mixed with water, it transforms into a refreshing face mask 

GIORGIO ARMANI’s Crema Nera and Skin Minerals for Men are obsidian mineral based products fundamental to the ARMANI/SPA concept.

Luxury Armani Restaurant

Within the imposing Armani/Ginza Tower, the 10th floor is home to the Armani/Ristorante. The 120-seat restaurant, featuring the original Italian cuisine of Chef Enrico Derflingher, is set against a beautifully intimate and elegant backdrop. Tables in gloss black-lacquered wood with a dual-layer gilt metal and glass top, are surrounded by panel screens with brushed gold finish and distinctive perforated bamboo leaf patterns. 
Upstairs, the 40-seat Armani/Privé has two areas: inside a main reception room; outside a terrace with teak decking is the home of a small garden, with floor-level lighting.
