Ramatuelle is a commune in the department of Var in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. Neighboring town of Saint-Tropez on the Côte d'Azur, it lies at the eastern foot of the Massif des Maures.
The town is near the Bay of Pampelonne in the center of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez in a typical Provencal coastline, giving the pine forested hills and fertile plains, its special character.
Within the Municipality are the beaches Escalet, Tahiti and the 4.5 km long beach of Pampelonne that counts, with an area of 27 ha with the largest sandy beaches of Provence. The total length of the coastline of the municipality of Cap to Cap du Pinet Taillat is about 20 km.
