Milanese latteria and gelateria Bianco Latte is a charming combination of cafe, restaurant and shop. Featuring an all-white interior and a menu centred around milk, the aim is to be "pure and genuine; milk as we remember it from our childhood".

Milk is the key ingredient of this shop in Via Turati. Latteria (dairy), cafè, gelateria and bistrot, all together in the same place just ten minutes walk from Milano Centrale train station. The white and creamy interiors remind of a country house, with a good selection of tasty products such as cappuccino, chocolate, yogurt, fresh cheese and ice cream.

It’s open from breakfast to dinner. It’s a good place to grab a coffee on the way or stop for a quick bite, a salad, a piadina or a pasta. At lunchtime it is always packed but you can easily find a table for two. On Sundays it’s a popular brunch hangout.

You can also buy some of the products as a gift to bring back home. They  opened a little design houseware shop where you can find from cups to forks. All you need for your table at home! Before you leave, don’t miss to taste the home made cakes and my favourite: the delicious crepes with Nutella (the famous Italian hazelnut cream).

Highlights from the menu include hot milk with honey or cinnamon, chestnut cream, milk chocolates - and, this being Italy, a fantastic range of ice cream. A shop selling related goods, including melamine tea sets and tea towels, leads off from the restaurant.
